--Our First 'Customer'
It all began one weekend during the summer of 2009 when we presented our cheese to a fellow camper. After he took a bite, we had trouble reading the look on his face.
Once past that stage of our journey, extensive product testing was performed by the USDA, FDA, and the University of TN, head food scientist Dr. William C. Morris. All tests concluded we had a safe and wholesome product to present to retailers and the ultimate consumer. Not surprisingly, product testing over many months following the qualitative tests resulted in over ninety nine percent of the people who tried our cheese spread, loved it!
Finally, our search began for suppliers—we searched the globe to find only the freshest and highest quality ingredients for our product. Furthermore, a three month process resulted in Barley the Bull becoming the spokesman for our “No Bull Beer Cheese Spread with Attitude.” It seemed like the perfect combination, the “you’ll want more” taste and “No Bull” outlook to bring our cheese to all who love good food.
